Non Profit Status

We have been diligently working on getting our 501c3 non profit status so that we can make our organization more appealing to our customers and potential donors. It is amazing how much paper work there is involved in this! With luck all will go well and we can become a proud non profit organization with a 501c3 designation. Thank you to all our supporters.

Update! I have checked with the IRS and we are getting closer! They apparently go through many, many applications and can easily get swamped. But I hope within the next couple of months we will be getting some good news!

Austin Public Libraries Holocaust Book Project

Yesterday I delivered 21 sets of the 5 Holocaust books to the Austin Public Library. I also gave them a copy of the prop up poster that I made. That way the books do not just shelved away and no one knows about them. Now the libraries each have a display that they can put on their desk or on a wall so that people know the books are there.

San Antonio Holocaust Museum

I recently got back from a visit to the Holocaust Museum in San Antonio, Texas. My goal was to introduce to them the books that we are currently working on getting into the Austin Public Library System. I found out they are very active with kids and they have a few Holocaust survivors that give talks on a fairly regular basis. They also have self published a book that has numerous recollections from the days of the Holocaust by those who moved to the San Antonio area. There are some very unforgettable memories recorded in those pages and I am sure they would love for you to pick up a copy.
